WOULD THERE STILL BE ANYONE WHO READS POEMS THESE DAYS?
Seriously, do people these days still appreciate the beauty of poems? I mean, the hidden meaning of each line kept within minimal wordings. The need to not over-explain but get across the meaning just the same. That's how beautiful poems are.
This is a poem compilation of a bugged mind, seeking purpose in life. Words you may not put into stories, you'll find here.

The One Who Reads
This is about a boy who gains power from everything he reads. He also has some other issues to deal with, like the chaos, but he is also part of the chaos. His abilities and powers will continue to grow and manifest, but which side will he stand on?
P.S. I am just in 8th grade so don't judge too much, but leave some suggestions or reviews so I can continue to grow as a writer and make the story better.

Adult Bedtime Stories
Adult Bedtime Stories consists of various short stories which are children like bedtime stories but for adults with contents like drugs, sex, murder with the help of animals as the characters.
Perhaps he selects bedtime stories according to the age of the listener. For a very young child, he would choose simple and short stories with bright and colorful characters. For an older child, he might go for more complex and thought - provoking stories. He also could be influenced by the current trends or popular stories among children at that time. If there is a new series of books that all the kids are talking about, he might be inclined to read one of those stories.
A Ricky Ricardo bedtime story could include his day at the club, like the songs he sang, the people he met, and the jokes he shared. Maybe he had an encounter with a difficult customer or a really enthusiastic fan. It could also be about his relationship with Lucy, like a little argument they had during the day that got resolved before bedtime.
Well, Ricky Ricardo had a very eventful day. He had rehearsals, shows, and meetings. By the time bedtime came around, he was exhausted. He walked into his bedroom, which was filled with mementos from his career. He sat on the edge of the bed and took off his shoes. He thought about his family and how lucky he was. He then lay down, pulled the covers up, and as he closed his eyes, he could see the bright lights of the stage in his mind. Before he knew it, he was fast asleep.
Well, it could be a very heart - warming moment. Ricky Ricardo might be sharing a story to bond with the listener, perhaps his child. It could also be a way to pass on cultural values or just to help someone relax and fall asleep easily.
It could be that he is reading a classic fairy tale. He might be using different voices for the characters in the story, like a deep voice for the villain and a high - pitched voice for the princess. This would make the bedtime story more engaging for the listener.
Ricky Ricardo reading a bedtime story could be special because of his cultural background. He might incorporate elements from his own heritage into the way he tells the story. He could introduce new words, phrases or concepts from his culture, which not only makes the story more interesting but also educates the listener in a subtle way. He may also tell stories that are not so common, perhaps ones that he heard growing up, which gives the bedtime story a unique flavor.
Ricky Ricardo could make the bedtime story interesting by adding his own personal touches. Maybe he'll pause at suspenseful parts to build anticipation, or use expressive body language even if it's just a reading. He could also change the tempo of his voice according to the mood of the story, for example, speaking slowly for a spooky part and quickly for an exciting part.
In the context of 'I Love Lucy', when Ricky reads a bedtime story, he may bring his own unique charm to it. Since he has his own style and personality. He could be a bit clumsy while reading, which might add some humor to the whole situation. Or he might read the story in a very dramatic way, making it seem like a mini - performance for the listeners.
Well, without more context, it's difficult to say precisely. Maybe Ricky reads a bedtime story as a way to soothe Lucy after a long day. It could be a simple fairytale, but knowing Ricky, he'd probably add his own zany remarks in between the lines, making it a unique and funny bedtime reading experience.
