My Family's Wanwan Is A Top Star Director

My Family's Wanwan Is A Top Star Director

~Excerpt~ She looked at him. Her gaze was resolute. "Let's date, Tinghao." The office was quiet. A cold breeze blew into the room and it sent shivers down Fu Tinghao's spine. He reached out to button the top buttons back. He couldn't believe his ears. For a moment, he feared he had heard the wrong thing. He lifted his head and he looked at her. She was looking at him quietly as though waiting for him to speak. He couldn't help but shake his head and laughed dryly. But, there was a lack of humor in his voice.  "Tang Wan, it's not April Fools Day. Can you stop pulling my leg?"[1] Tang Wan was speechless. She looked carefully at him and realized that he didn't seem to be kidding. He really didn't believe her words.  She pursed her lips and repeated, "I mean it. Let's date." Then, she stressed, as though to make her words more believable. "I love you." Fu Tinghao was stunned. He stared at her in a daze. It was then he felt the urgency in her words. He could sense the sincerity in those words. She said she loved him. He was unable to react, trying to comprehend her words. He felt a surge of happiness invade him. It was as though he was in the clouds. But on the surface, he was calm and his head was lowered. After some time, he looked up at her and gave a small chuckle, "Tang Wan, why do you like playing around like this? Just yesterday, you said you couldn't love anyone. I already accepted my fate that my love will forever be one-sided. But now, you are telling me you love me?" Tang Wan lowered her head as embarrassment sunk in. He was right. She had been unresponsive to his advances for a long time. And suddenly, she confessed to him. Anyone would feel doubtful. She opened her mouth to talk but he didn't let her… He cut in. "I don't love you anymore though." Tang Wan looked at him. He was staring at her seriously. His eyes were fixated on her and he seemed to be deadly serious. Of course, she had no idea he was only playing hard to get. Her heart skipped a beat. As his words sunk in, she felt a surge of panic. Her chest tightened as though there was a hand squeezing it. It was extremely uncomfortable.  Was this how he felt all this while? No, she could not accept this outcome. "Fu Tinghao…" He looked at her. "I can't accept your love." Then, he picked up the light switch remote and clicked on it. The light immediately came on and the surroundings brightened.  He then turned to the documents on the desk. He picked the blue fountain pen in the pen holder and stated, "I got to work." He lowered his head and began to write seriously. He didn't look at her anymore. Tang Wan was unable to move as she looked at that handsome face. She felt a strong sense of panic she had not felt in a long time. She didn't know what suddenly got into her. But, she rushed towards him and grabbed him by the collar. Then, she grabbed his chin and lifted his face up to look at her. She could vaguely see traces of emotions in his eyes too. But, she couldn't dwell on that anymore. She lowered her lips to his. She kissed him.  *** Tang Wan, the beautiful daughter of the Tang family suddenly went insane after her parents deaths. Her very loving husband, Feng Jun immediately registered her at a mental hospital to protect and make sure she doesn't embarrass herself in the circle. That was what everyone thought... They were all discussing about how loving and patient Feng Jun was. But in reality... It was all a sham. *** Tang Wan, 22 years old went into a state of mania after her parents death and her husband's infidelity. There she met Fu Tinghao, a renowned doctor and with his help, she was able to recover. She returned to take over her family's entertainment company. Then, she started to create her own path in the industry, gaining a foothold as a renowned director and agent. Phoenix_10 (Mide) First Published: 2022

Falling for Miss Director

Falling for Miss Director

Nature never imposes love; it offers it gently, much like a fragile rose unfurling its petals in the morning light. ***** When Sydney's eyes locked with Jordan's, her heart danced a frantic rhythm, and words seemed to dissolve before they could leave her lips. His striking silver eyes glistened like precious stones, while his elegant black tuxedo highlighted every sculpted line of his face, transforming him into a dashing prince from a fairy tale. His warm, gentle smile wrapped around her like a tender embrace, and she felt as though she was yielding to the whispers of destiny. This was that electrifying moment of love at first sight, yet... Sydney's hand instinctively moved to her stomach as she dashed aside, swept up in a torrent of emotions. It wasn't just her heart that raced; her deepest anxieties stirred to life as well. L-O-V-E! Sydney Mia, renowned across the nation as a visionary director, had a clear mantra: "Conquer the world with my films, amass accolades, and secure an immortal legacy." Love was never part of the grand narrative, merely a faint echo in the distance. Yet, Jordan's presence was a gentle tremor, unsettling the core of her being and awakening a yearning she had never acknowledged. There was an undeniable uniqueness about Jordan. He was the calm amid chaos, a sanctuary where she could truly be herself and confront her demons. As she opened her eyes, her hand still quivering, their gazes intertwined once more. His silver eyes radiated an ethereal intensity, brimming with concern and tenderness. "Are you okay?" he inquired, his voice a soothing balm, like a gentle stream winding through a verdant glen. In that instant, Sydney felt her defenses beginning to crumble, her fears slowly unwinding. Could Jordan be the one to ignite her heart, to reveal that love was not a vulnerability, but a formidable force capable of moving mountains and breaking the chains of her deepest insecurities? Could he be the one to inspire her to rewrite her life's script, to place love in the starring role?

The Gospel of John

The Gospel of John

The Gospel according to John is quite different in character from the three synoptic gospels. It is highly literary and symbolic. It does not follow the same order or reproduce the same stories as the synoptic gospels. To a much greater degree, it is the product of a developed theological reflection and grows out of a different circle and tradition. It was probably written in the 90s of the first century. The Gospel of John begins with a magnificent prologue, which states many of the major themes and motifs of the gospel, much as an overture does for a musical work. The prologue proclaims Jesus as the preexistent and incarnate Word of God who has revealed the Father to us. The rest of the first chapter forms the introduction to the gospel proper and consists of the Baptist’s testimony about Jesus (there is no baptism of Jesus in this gospel—John simply points him out as the Lamb of God), followed by stories of the call of the first disciples, in which various titles predicated of Jesus in the early church are presented. The gospel narrative contains a series of “signs”—the gospel’s word for the wondrous deeds of Jesus. The author is primarily interested in the significance of these deeds, and so interprets them for the reader by various reflections, narratives, and discourses. The first sign is the transformation of water into wine at Cana (Jn 2:1–11); this represents the replacement of the Jewish ceremonial washings and symbolizes the entire creative and transforming work of Jesus. The second sign, the cure of the royal official’s son (Jn 4:46–54) simply by the word of Jesus at a distance, signifies the power of Jesus’ life-giving word. The same theme is further developed by other signs, probably for a total of seven. The third sign, the cure of the paralytic at the pool with five porticoes in chap. 5, continues the theme of water offering newness of life. In the preceding chapter, to the woman at the well in Samaria Jesus had offered living water springing up to eternal life, a symbol of the revelation that Jesus brings; here Jesus’ life-giving word replaces the water of the pool that failed to bring life. Jn 6 contains two signs, the multiplication of loaves and the walking on the waters of the Sea of Galilee. These signs are connected much as the manna and the crossing of the Red Sea are in the Passover narrative and symbolize a new exodus. The multiplication of the loaves is interpreted for the reader by the discourse that follows, where the bread of life is used first as a figure for the revelation of God in Jesus and then for the Eucharist. After a series of dialogues reflecting Jesus’ debates with the Jewish authorities at the Feast of Tabernacles in Jn 7; 8, the sixth sign is presented in Jn 9, the sign of the young man born blind. This is a narrative illustration of the theme of conflict in the preceding two chapters; it proclaims the triumph of light over darkness, as Jesus is presented as the Light of the world. This is interpreted by a narrative of controversy between the Pharisees and the young man who had been given his sight by Jesus, ending with a discussion of spiritual blindness and spelling out the symbolic meaning of the cure. And finally, the seventh sign, the raising of Lazarus in chap. 11, is the climax of signs. Lazarus is presented as a token of the real life that Jesus, the Resurrection and the Life, who will now ironically be put to death because of his gift of life to Lazarus, will give to all who believe in him once he has been raised from the dead.

I'm not sure if I can directly beat Ridley in Radiata Stories as I'm just an AI and don't have the ability to play the game. However, in the game, if a player wants to beat Ridley, they would typically need to level up their character, have good equipment, and understand Ridley's attack patterns. It also depends on the class of the character you are playing. For example, a strong melee class might need to get in close while dodging Ridley's attacks, and a ranged class would need to keep their distance and find good vantage points to attack from.
