There exist dimensions other than our own with their own worlds inside. For example, when we hear 2d and 3d we think of games or movies. however, these are actually the names for real dimensions, and these dimensions exist from 1d to 9d with Earth residing in 1d. However these dimensions aren't perfect and can sometimes fracture, creating cracks and sucking in things or people and puting out somewhere random(kinda like backrooms except that would be 4d). this is how we see unexplained things on earth, from magic to superpowers to supernatural things. One such crack forms in the middle of a room and sucks in a sleeping and unsuspecting teenager in the middle of the night, and and throws him into 2d, outside of bounds he wakes up shorty after. (Authors note: i do edit the chapters again if i notice a spelling mistake or something, so give it atleast a hour before you read a new chapter so that i can catch most of the mistakes.)
