My hand trembles as I bring the lit cigarette up to my mouth and take a drag. I lean against the railing of my apartments balcony as the wind lightly blows the cold rain drops onto my exposed skin. This city has been throwing curve balls at me ever since I moved here... But ghosts? I sigh as I let the smoke out of my lungs and look back inside at the lump under the covers on my bed. At least she got my mind off things for a while. I smile slightly thinking about the past few hours. I put out my cigarette and head over to my closet. Guess it's time to get back to work.

FRay
Until he crashlands on the Wynne Farm near St Anne, Alderney, Edmund Bolton will have insisted the most prudent thing about himself is his medical degree and his willingness to fight fascists. But of course it’s that island, and that farm – and that family.
Aidan Wynne is tortured by the shame of others and tormented by a freedom he feels he can never possess. Until the handsome military doctor with far too much understanding and far too little self-preservation comes to turn his life on its head.
The war makes fighters of all affected, but none so much as the lovers and those who must love quietly. Often, the fray has less to do with weaponry and bloodshed, and everything to do with keeping tame a passion that seeks to send the world up in flames without burning oneself up in the process.
”Once more into the fray,
into the last good fight I’ll ever know.
Live and die on this day,
live and die on this day.”
Fray is created by Li Walt, an eGlobal Creative Publishing signed author.

Donuts are presented as a common food item in Pulp Fiction. We see them in the diner scenes, just sitting there on the counter or being eaten by the characters.
The donuts in Pulp Fiction are a bit of a running gag. They represent the simple pleasures in the seedy underworld shown in the movie. They're just an ordinary food item that stands out in the midst of all the violence and chaos.
The 'donuts the hole story' could be a fascinating exploration. It may start with the very first donuts ever made. Some say that sailors' mothers made donuts with holes in the middle so they could be strung on ropes and stored easily on ships. This could be the basis of the story. Over time, the donut hole has become an iconic part of the donut. It might also be related to the various fillings that can be put into the donut through the hole, which has added to the popularity and variety of donuts we have today.
A great option is 'The Donut Chef'. It not only features donuts but also teaches kids a bit about cooking and running a business in a simple and fun way. The illustrations are bright and it's a great book for bedtime or just a fun read during the day.
One such book is 'If You Give a Dog a Donut' by Laura Numeroff. It's a really cute book where a dog gets a donut and then a series of funny and endearing events unfold as a result of that donut.
Since we don't know the actual story, Ray could be anyone. He might be a kind - hearted person in the story who does good deeds and thus is loved by everybody.
In a small town, there was a Dunkin Donuts that was rumored to be haunted. A new employee didn't believe the rumors at first. But one day, while cleaning the display case, she saw a handprint on the glass that wasn't there before. Then, the lights started flickering. She heard whispers as if someone was saying 'fresh donuts' in a very eerie voice. She was so terrified that she quit on the spot. Locals now avoid that Dunkin Donuts at night.
The origin of Dunkin' Donuts dates back to 1950. Bill Rosenberg opened the first Dunkin' Donuts in Quincy, Massachusetts. He had the idea of combining freshly made donuts with great coffee. At that time, donuts were becoming popular in the United States, and Rosenberg saw an opportunity to create a unique brand. He focused on quality and variety, which quickly attracted customers, and from there, Dunkin' Donuts grew into the well - known chain it is today.
