He was angry– furious, actually– because nothing he said ever got through to this guy. Victor chuckled. Chuckled. Like Ricky was adorable instead of a mass-murdering mad scientist. “I know you like me.” Ricky’s face burned. He took several steps back in embarrassment, but Victor was always too close. Every time he tried to push this guy away, he just got closer. And that ulterior motive lurking behind Victor’s actions? Yeah. Ricky noticed it. Sure, Ricky was quite the catch if he had to say so himself– but Victor’s obsession definitely went further than flirting. He had been asking too many questions about things he should know nothing about. He made Ricky feel like prey. And Ricky hated feeling like prey. Victor closed the distance, voice dropping low. “And you're mine.” Okay. That was it. Ricky officially hated this guy.
