She may have not been directly by his side, but seeing how hard he trained whilst being harshly berated by his father her affection only grew. While he didn't have a mother, Cassandra never had a father. Growing up in each other's presence with differing ways of parenting, Ye Qiu grew up with a mission, whilst the female meandered through her life aimlessly. As they grew up, Ye Qiu had told Cassandra that after his father deems him worthy and releases him from the Dojo, he will set out to find his mother and asked if she'd want to join him. Having no direction or plans for her life, she agreed to be his companion for this journey. The day after this promise, their village was struck by an unknown superpower force that wiped the small village and its surrounding areas into nothing but ashes. Cassandra had no recollection of what happened afterwards. The only thing left after that is her and Ye Qiu, with the entire village suspended to its state in time never ending when it was still whole.

Tetapi, sebelum melepaskan Haru, Shizu mengajarkan sebuah kuasa supernatural kepada Haru iaitu mencuri kuasa orang lain. Berjalanlah pengembaraan Haru yang tidak normal dan luar biasa dari kehidupan biasa.
