Synthetic Survivor: Machine Age

Synthetic Survivor: Machine Age

“There is this aching feeling, it pains my heart and fries my already half-human and half-machine heart. I awoke in a world of death and destruction, I am the only survivor. But this may be a blessing, this new world, this world that boasts magic, maybe I will finally bring salvation to my world, even if it causes millions of lives,” One woke with amnesia underneath the shattered remains of a once prosperous human civilization. He remembered nothing, his past or the events that happened that caused the world to become as it was. He was no longer purely human, he woke to find himself a hybrid between a man and a machine. But amid the radioactive dunes and lifeless expanse of the Earth, a lone machine network survived the disaster. After discovering that he controlled them, he set out on one goal: Rebuild. But how can he fully rebuild? For the Earth once had life but now was barren, not even bacteria survived. Until the wormhole appeared a decade later. But he was not alone, when he awoke, a voice rang in his head, who was it? It was his friend, a friend from the past. Although he does not remember her name, he still felt how important she was before even if he has lost all his humanity and memories, her name was Hailey. Follow her as she guides One a decade after he awakes, the both of them will form the most powerful machine leaders who will ever walk in the face of the two worlds. Their story will start a decade into One’s rebuilding, he now controlled a vast network of machines around the planet Earth, all focused in the effort of rebuilding the world towards its former glory, there was only one thing missing, an essential attribute which differentiated Earth from all other known planets, life. But everything changed when a wormhole opened, a breach within the fabric of space and time, opening a pathway between Earth and a world of fantasy! Follow One as he and his Empire explores this new mystical world full of elves, goblins, orcs, dwarves, ogres, humans, kingdoms, empires and magic! His goal of restoring life may be within his grasps. But that does not mean there won’t be opposition. There will be battles, wars and calamities, millions will perish in the onslaught that will soon follow. Especially, when One discovers that the new world held the secrets of the past. He will face Deities and powerful foes, will he prevail? New weapons he will smith and countries he shall wipe out, for he is, One. ----- Discord: https://discord.gg/HrTg3T8

Synthetic Survivor: Machine Age(Alternative)

Disclaimer: Most of the contents in this book doesn't belong to me but from the original author name NaranNarman, the author of the original Synthetic Survivor. The reason I made this book was create a better version of it, because some part of the story isn't good and doesn't make any sense, so I'll rewrite it then. While the original author seems retires and didn't complete the whole story, I might just gonna complete it for him. And also, in this book, the characters and the outcome of the story is similar, I added an extra twist to make the story very thrill. And I change the names from the orginal book cause I felt like it. The Crown's Heir

The Crown's Heir

BOOK 1 THE PAST AND THE UNKNOWN ******************************************** "Viera" "Yes mother" "Come my child" Queen Vena tapped the bed "let me tell you a story" "They say the last dragons died during the war of the first five kings, but not all were vanquished during the era of conquest. What many hadn't notice was two dragons fleeing the battle after their riders fell to their death. Those who saw had gone in search for them, not many returned. For to find the last dragons, you must travel the dreadful narrow sea, through the waters of siren and past the dunes of voices, then, to the eastern end, you shall see a small island, on that island the dragons you shall find" "How do you know this mother?" The queen smiled at her daughter of five years of age. The girl was little only by age but not wisdom. Smiling she replied. "Of the few that returned alive, one man succeeded in finding them" she said, and then stared out the window, into the distance. "My great grand father" *************** In a world where a woman could never rule, Viera's claim to the throne is given to her father's closest male descendant, her uncle, the tyrant prince Odis, who sent her on exile on a whim, after ascending the throne. With her sworn knights, and army, she left the kingdom on her ancestral ship 'the black trident'. Determined to take back her rightful crown, and with only a little army of two hundred men, not many enough to challenge her uncle's seat as king, the princess set out with her knights, to find the last dragons, for no army could rival a dragon. But as they sail beyond the clear sea, they are soon confronted by the forces that lies in the outlands, forces that threatens to take their lives. JUNKSTARS

JUNKSTARS

Upon the ancient planet of Chejeveck, colonized and Terra-Formed millennia ago by the bygone humans of the Era Of Starlight, is a culture decimated by war, famine and stagnation. After the collapse of the Era of Starlight, the planet has been rendered near uninhabitable through liberal use of nuclear warheads, space-vessel bombardments and orbital weapons platforms. What was left were the ruins of cities, factory-complexes and machine-yards. Vast planes of scrap metal and junk cover a major portion of the planet’s surface. Through untold centuries, the surviving humans here have strangled out an existence of misery and bloodshed as the ways of the past were forgotten and replaced with the ever-looming threat of destruction and the constant fight for survival. The ancestors once relied on the machines known as “ENHANCED LABOR UNITS”, or ELUs for short, to work the massive power plants, weapons factories, missile silos and everything else on the planet. Now, the people rely on these once magnificent machines to do war. Cannibalized, rebuilt, retro-fitted and upgraded; these once fusion-powered mech-suits rely on gasoline, coal, or electricity as they march across the wastes. The Scrap-Dunes, as they are called by some tribes, cannot be traversed by any wheeled vehicle, and thus the often two-legged, all-terrain, up to fifteen foot tall ELUs proved invaluable in the aftermath of the many wars fought on this planet’s soil. For the humans of Chejeveck, survival is won by the boot and metal of the ELUs and their pilots. As time claws onward, more history and more knowledge is lost; The Dust Takes All. The Rust Eats All. Follow the journey of a young man, Jakabi of the Eondai Settlement as he grows in maturity, skill and strength.
