Demons in the Mirror

Demons in the Mirror

{On Hiatus} Everyone had the exact replica of themselves in the mirror. It was just the shadow of yourself, a shape of a person imitating your every move. What if I tell you, the mirror was just a barrier for another world- for another copy of you? Another copy you would be terrified to see. A demon version of you. Every people in this world had a counterpart. Everyone had a demon of their own, living freely of their will in the world inside their mirror. The exact replica, yet different stories they were living. Different conflicts, different choices, and different endings. The Vergessene family always had been the strongest of both worlds. The family of the strongest criminals in the human world and the family of the strongest anarchists in the demon world. Different yet the same. Both of the worlds weren’t supposed to be aware of one another. Both worlds weren’t supposed to cross with each other. But the demon version of the Vergessene family lost their youngest one. He died at an early age, too young to leave the world; he never made it past seventeen. Until they found out their youngest one had the exact replica of himself and snatched the human version of him away. __________ Take notes that this is a slow-burn novel, so it's going to be slow :D Also, this novel is really dark. This is a found family with forced adoption. You can clearly see from the synopsis that the family is really messed up. Trigger warnings for manipulations (A LOT of them), blood, body horror, graphic fighting, unhealthy relationships, panic attacks, anxiety, PTSD, depression, dehumanization, suicide, and swearing. Anyway, enjoy your stay in this book!

The Edison family moves to Saldanha Bay, a small town on the West Coast of South Africa after Craig accepted a lucrative job offer. Here they encounter various experiences linked to witchcraft and Satanism. They also discover a battered ruin on a hill just out of town. According to legend, Vikings constructed it when their ship went off course and got smashed against the rocks with no way to return home again. Craig is drawn back to his past weakness when he is introduced to his boss’s secretary, Pamela Jenson. Craig’s daughter, Emily has vivid dreams about the ruin on the hill where she bears witness to the Vikings burying something of great power. Craig realises something is wrong in town when none of the incidents are mentioned in any of the newspapers. The twin brothers Patrick and Andrew Edison soon become targets by a group of Satanists in school. Craig learns that his neighbour, Brian Kensington has an acute gift and that things are far more sinister in town than he originally thought. Norman James Hayward, known as Numbers is released from jail after his 2-year sentence and discovers that the Edison’s bought the old house he grew up in. An example of a famous work is as follows: I recently read a famous Latino literary work called " One Hundred Years of Solitude " by Colombia Márquez in 1967. This novel used the history of the seven generations of the Buenda family as a clue to tell a magical and realistic story. The story was set in a small town called Macondo, which spanned seven generations of history. The book depicted the political turmoil, social changes, and the ups and downs of people's fates in the town. At the same time, it also showed Marquez's profound thoughts and rich literary expressions. I think the most fascinating thing about this book is its magical realism. The plot and character settings in the novel were full of imagination and mystery. For example, Ursuline and her family were given extraordinary abilities to sense and control the souls of the dead. These abilities presented a wonderful and strange perspective in the novel. In addition, the illusions and dreams in the novel were also full of magical colors, making people sigh at the author's rich imagination. After reading this book, I was deeply inspired. The historical, social, and cultural issues presented in the novel were thought-provoking and made me feel Marquez's profound thoughts and literary talent. This book was not only a literary masterpiece, but also a reflection and exploration of human destiny and social change.

" Hello Teacher " was a very touching movie. It told the story of a young female teacher who chose to become a teacher after losing her husband and child. She made great efforts to help her students grow up. This movie made me deeply feel the importance of teachers. They are the engineers of the human soul. Not only do they impart knowledge, but more importantly, they teach us how to be human. The teacher in the film let us feel the beauty and perseverance of human nature through her words and deeds. The movie also showed the complexity and challenge of the teacher-student relationship. The relationship between teachers and students was not only a tool for imparting knowledge, but also a bridge for mutual understanding and support. In this rapidly changing society, teachers need to constantly learn and update their knowledge and skills in order to provide better education for students. The movie "Good Teacher" gave me a deeper understanding of the profession of teachers, and also made me cherish and respect the efforts and contributions of teachers more. At the same time, I also hope that more people can pay attention to and care about the cause of education and provide more support and help for the growth and development of teachers.

'A Chinese Oath to the West' was a very funny and touching movie. After watching this movie, I laughed so hard that my back cramped, and at the same time, I shed tears. The characters Joker and Sun Wukong left a deep impression on me. Joker's cynicism and debauchery made me laugh, but Sun Wukong's determination and courage to shoulder the mission moved me. The love story in the movie also made me think deeply. I once had a sincere love in front of me, but I didn't cherish it properly. I regretted it when I lost it. These words touched me deeply. In general, watching a Chinese Opus was a very interesting and touching experience.
