Lancelot Guinevere, a young boy living in a world filled with heroes and villains. Quirks are what separate the top of society from those at the bottom. Those deemed “quirkless” are doomed to a mediocre fate. Follow the story of the [Time Hero: Clockwork] as he climbs his way to the top of the world. This story is my personal take on a My Hero Academia world. There will be appearances from the main cast but that won’t be until much later in the novel. They are two years older than our main character which gives me a bit more room to work with in terms of originality. I intend to make this darker than the anime does. Of course that doesn’t mean rampant murder or anything along those lines but death is more common in my story. . . . . . I am writing this novel entirely for fun. In the end, the Demons ended up becoming the hunted. Their Demon Cores harvested to fuel humanity’s newest technological revolution. Within this brave new world, Lu Cain contentedly lived a normal life. Surrounded by his adopted family and friends. However, his peaceful world was shattered when a terrifying new type of Demon attacked his home and his people. Author Notes: This was written for Writing Prompts Contest #13: Steampunk. It’s an effort on my part to write a short story.

He has completed his yearlong training in the Coalition of Humanity's Academy and now begins an apprenticeship, far away from his native home of California. His first mission will take him into the depths of madness. Where the nightmares do not end even when one awakens. Author Notes: Writing Prompts Contest #24：Cthulhu Mythos. This is set in the same world as my previous short story; The Demon’s Clockwork Heart. Although it’s not necessary to read the previous story, it will make this story more interesting if one does so. I plan to make more short stories in this world for future writing contests when possible.

It must always move forward. 2. Timelines cannot be created or destroyed. 3. The slowing or acceleration of time will result in an opposite and equal reaction.
