Alan Furst has been known for his historical espionage novels. His latest one, 'Under Occupation', is set in a particular historical context which he is so good at portraying. The story likely involves his signature elements such as complex characters, a shadowy world of spies and the tensions of the time period it is set in. It draws readers into a world filled with intrigue and danger as his other works do.

As of July 2023, his latest novel is 'Under Occupation'.

I'm not entirely sure if there have been new releases since I last checked, but 'Under Occupation' was his most recent novel. In his novels, Furst has a knack for creating a vivid sense of place and time. His writing style often makes you feel as if you are right there in the middle of the action, whether it's in the back alleys of a European city during World War II or in the smoky rooms where secrets are being traded. 'Under Occupation' probably continues this tradition, with a plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

What's A King Without A System?

(Author's note: Story will be updated on August 3, 2020. I'm having my last semester in college so I'll focus on that for a while. Also, a remake will be done so reading this version would still be worth it. For those who were looking forward to more content, sorry but you'll have to wait longer. But my personal life has to come first, and this hobby can wait. If you're willing to wait, I'll give you your due reward, but not for a while. Thank you, and hope you like what you'll see.) The world as we know it is about to end. Billions of lives will be lost, countries devastated and society left in ruins. But if you have the power to save it, would you? Zel Huertazuela has had a life that's full of let downs. His mother was a debt-ridden mess, his father was an abusive angry bull while he gets nothing but insults when trying to fix them. He doesn't even know how to move forward with his life. “Never mind, I don’t really know what I want, why not just do what people tell me to? Money is needed you say? I’ll be an engineer then, those pay well right?” “Get a work that you would do even if you don’t get paid for it? What the hell kind of fantasy is that?” But that would have been it if it weren't for his sudden ability to live a lifetime in the span of a dream that lasts a night. "Wait, this isn't the hospital?!" "Where's my wife!" "Now that I'm back, I'll be rich!" "I'll fix the mistakes I made, there won't be any more regrets for this guy!" "Monsters?! No problem!" "We won in the dream, why can't we win in reality?" "What do you mean it changed?" "Help! How do I fix this?!" If you were given a second chance, would you take it? Even if you have to lose everything you built up today? Find out how a man finds himself saving the world by being the man who rules it! (The first volume is basically a very long prologue. The 'Battle of the Beginning' chapters will be more representative of what to expect from future volumes. This story is something I had in mind for a long time now so many of the ideas and scenarios can be seen in my other works but they are only similar, not literal copies. Enjoy!)

The Novel's Professor

The Novel's Professor

A happy and fulfilled life, everyone wanted that. Rio was no exception, he too wanted to feel joy and fulfillment. But how many actually achieved that? He didn't know, but he knew that he was not part of those. Rio, a part time editor of a webnovel called, The Last Stand, transmigrated inside the world of the novel. Not as a main character, nor as a villain, not even a student. But as a professor. A simple extra, professor that was never even mentioned in the story. Through some circumstances, he was the mentor of the main cast of characters. Armed with knowledge of the future, treasures of the world, and skills of different origins. He would raise these students to their utmost as early as possible. He felt that there would be no problem. However, as time marches forward he realizes everything was not as simple as he thought. The plot, or the future, as he knew it was going further down the rails. The body he occupied had a mysterious identity. A higher existence watches over him. Realizing the implications, he gave up on staying low key and unknown. He will strive, live, and survive admist this world of cruelty. A world set in a modern futuristic setting where cults roam free, capitalism corruption rises, demons and other races exist. However, even if he survived and lived, will he even feel happinness and fulfillment? He didn't know, but he will live still. — The MC in this story might feel light hearted at first, but as the story progresses he will become more darker. The characters might seem like gary stuish, but don't worry there are plenty of reasons for that. The story does not just focus on demons, but more so on other humans. I have no plans to make this a harem story, and usual super MC. Romance is bleak, I, so far, have no intention on making a lovey dovey scene. Expect daily updates, as I upload a chapter per day. — The cover art is not mine, if the artist has any intent or wishes to take it down please inform me immediately and proper action will take effect. (Undergoing EXTENSIVE EDITING rn)
