There was a little fox named Foxy. One evening, Foxy was feeling very curious. He left his den and went into the meadow. There, he found a shiny golden key. He didn't know where it belonged, so he started to look around. He came across an old, big oak tree with a small door at its base. The key fit perfectly into the lock. When he opened the door, he found a room filled with all kinds of delicious fruits and nuts. He ate his fill and then curled up in a corner of the room and fell asleep, with a full tummy and a happy heart.
Once, there was a wise old owl named Hoot. Hoot lived in an ancient tree in the middle of a dark forest. One night, a little mouse named Mickey was running away from a big cat. He scurried up the tree where Hoot lived. Hoot took pity on Mickey and decided to tell him a story to calm him down. Hoot told Mickey about a time when all the animals in the forest worked together to build a big shelter. They used branches, leaves, and mud. During the building, they shared stories and became great friends. Mickey was so engrossed in the story that he forgot about the cat. Before long, he was fast asleep in a small hollow of the tree, with Hoot keeping watch over him.
