There are people who have survived cardiac arrest. For instance, someone who had a heart attack in the middle of the street. Their heart stopped beating for a while, which is like a form of 'dying' in a sense. But due to the quick action of paramedics or bystanders who performed CPR, they were revived. And now they can tell the story of that terrifying moment when they thought they were gone.
Cancer survivors can also fit this description. There are those who had advanced - stage cancer and went through extremely harsh treatments like chemotherapy that made them feel as if they were at death's door. They had to battle the side effects and the disease itself. But they overcame it and are now able to tell their story of strength and the fight against cancer.
