Tell me a James Potter and Sirius Black short story.

One short story could be when they were at Hogwarts. James and Sirius decided to play a prank on Severus Snape. They lured him to the Shrieking Shack. However, things almost got out of hand as they underestimated how frightened Snape would be. But in the end, they managed to get him out without any real harm, all while laughing about their little adventure.

Here's another. James and Sirius once sneaked out of Hogwarts at night to explore the Forbidden Forest. They thought they could handle whatever was in there. As they walked, they stumbled upon a strange magical creature. Instead of running away, they tried to communicate with it. Using some basic spells and their natural charm, they made friends with the creature, at least for a short while, and then made their way back to the castle before dawn, with a great story to tell.
