Can short stories be a novel?

This story is going to serve as a repository for all of my different stories that are either discontinued or complete with less than ten chapters. Every 'chapter' in this story will be it's own contained story, and each day I will endeavor to post a new one up for everyone to read.

Jake Griffs was a normal guy. He just finished high school, has no girlfriend, and is just starting college.
