At a family reunion, we were having an intimate conversation about our dreams. I was so excited to share mine that I tripped over a chair while standing up to talk. Everyone started laughing, and it turned into a really warm and humorous moment. We ended up sharing even more personal stories and having a great time.
I went on a trip with my significant other. We planned to take a really nice photo at a beautiful lookout. But just as we were about to take the picture, a strong gust of wind blew my hat right into a puddle. We couldn't stop laughing at how ridiculous I looked. It was a moment full of laughter and closeness.
Well, here's one. I once went on a blind date. I was so nervous that I accidentally spilled my drink all over myself right when we met. But instead of being embarrassed, we both just burst out laughing and it actually made the whole date really relaxed and fun.
My neighbor decided to paint his fence. He was all confident and started without really preparing. As he was painting, a big gust of wind blew the paintbrush right out of his hand and onto his face, leaving him looking like a blue - faced alien. He had to walk all the way home like that to clean up.
There was this time I went camping. I was trying to set up my tent. I accidentally tied myself up in the tent ropes and fell over. It took me ages to get free while my friends were in stitches.
There was this time when I was in high school. I was running late for class and as I rushed into the classroom, my backpack got caught on the doorknob. I was yanked back so hard that I fell over. All my books and papers went flying everywhere. The whole class was already seated and they all had a good laugh at my expense.
I went to a new restaurant. I ordered a steak. When it came, it looked amazing. But as I cut into it, the knife slipped and the steak flew across the table and landed in a lady's purse. I was so embarrassed.
Sure. One day, I decided to be all fancy and wear high - heels to work. I was walking down the street and stepped into a pothole. My heel broke and I went flying forward, right in front of a bunch of people waiting for the bus. They all gasped and then started laughing as I picked myself up with a broken shoe.
Well, my FML life story involves a time when I was really excited for a job interview. I prepared for days, had all my answers ready. But on the day of the interview, I woke up late because my alarm didn't go off. I rushed to get there, looking a mess. And when I finally arrived, they told me they had already filled the position. It was just one of those days where everything seemed to go wrong.
From my FML life story, I learned to always have a backup plan. For example, after missing that job interview because of the alarm, I now set multiple alarms and have a backup way to get to important places in case of emergencies.
Once I went camping. In the middle of the night, my friend got scared of a raccoon outside our tent and started singing really loudly to scare it away. But instead, it attracted more raccoons. It was a chaotic but funny situation.
Well, here's a funny story. I went to a new coffee shop. I ordered a latte and when the barista handed it to me, he accidentally spilled some on his own shirt and then started doing a little dance like it was part of the show. It made my day.
