Great Victorian novels typically feature a large cast of characters that represent different social strata. This allows for in - depth exploration of class relations. The narrative structure is often complex, with multiple storylines interwoven. They are known for their realism, painting a detailed picture of Victorian life, from the opulent mansions of the wealthy to the squalid slums of the poor. The novels also frequently comment on the role of women in society during that time.

The great Victorian novels often have complex characters. For example, in Dickens' works, characters like Oliver Twist are multi - dimensional. They also tend to explore social issues such as poverty and class differences. The settings are usually detailed, vividly depicting the Victorian era's cities and countryside.

Well, one characteristic is their moral focus. Victorian novels usually carry a moral message. They also have elaborate plots that keep readers engaged. The language used is quite rich and descriptive, which helps to create a strong sense of time and place. Many of them deal with the changing social fabric of the Victorian period.

Tian, is thrown into a whirl of unfortunate circumstances, resulting in his death. .
