What could be the scariest part about a 'Putting Hearts in Trees' horror story?

Other people earn points, gain skills and attributes after transmigration, while I end up planting trees?  What's the use of planting trees? I don't want to be a gardener! A story about magic. It will mainly follow the protagonist in his own adventure and findings about magic. It will be the same time line as the original story but will hopefully follow it's own plot and will continue even after Hogwarts.
