What could be an interesting King Kong Godzilla story?
A really cool King Kong Godzilla story could start with King Kong being awakened from his slumber on Skull Island by a series of tremors caused by Godzilla's movement across the ocean floor. King Kong thinks it's an invasion of his territory. Godzilla, on the other hand, is just following his natural instincts to explore. When they meet, King Kong tries to intimidate Godzilla with his size and strength. Godzilla, unfazed, uses his atomic breath. King Kong dodges and climbs onto Godzilla's back. They struggle for a while until they both fall into a deep canyon. There, they discover an underground civilization that has been manipulating their movements. They then team up to take on this civilization and free themselves from its control.
One possible story is that King Kong and Godzilla are both attracted to a powerful energy source deep in the arctic. King Kong travels across the sea on a makeshift raft made from trees, while Godzilla swims beneath the ice.
