In an old African hunting story, a group of hunters were on the prowl for a leopard that had been stealing their livestock. They knew the leopard was very cunning. They set up a series of snares around the area where it was last seen. But the leopard seemed to avoid them all. One young hunter had an idea. He used a live goat as bait. They tied the goat in an open area but hid themselves well. Eventually, the leopard came for the goat and got caught in one of the snares. The hunters then carefully approached and killed the leopard to protect their village.
Well, there was this story where an African hunter was faced with a large and dangerous buffalo. The buffalo charged at him but the hunter was quick and climbed a tree. He then patiently waited for the buffalo to calm down. After a while, when the buffalo was distracted, he managed to make a trap using vines and branches. The buffalo got caught in it and he was able to subdue it.
