Driver Share Driver Horror Stories: What Are Some of the Worst Experiences?

One driver had a customer who kept changing the delivery location while the driver was on the way. It was so frustrating as it made the delivery time much longer. Another time, a driver was delivering to an apartment building but the elevator was broken. He had to climb several floors with a heavy load of food, and by the time he reached the customer, the food was not in the best condition.

A driver once drove so recklessly. He was speeding and changing lanes without signaling. I was really scared that we would get into an accident. It was a short ride but felt like forever because of the constant fear.

Some drivers have even had food stolen right out of their hands when they were about to deliver it.

Another might be a driver who took a really long and strange detour through a very sketchy neighborhood, making the passenger fear for their safety. And then there was a case where a driver had a really bad temper and started yelling at the passenger for no good reason.

I once had an Uber driver who was driving way too fast. He was weaving in and out of traffic like it was a race. I was so scared that I asked him to slow down, but he just laughed it off. I couldn't wait to get out of that car.
