Can you share some funny house sitting stories?

A friend of mine had a house sitting horror story. He was taking care of a large house. One day, he noticed that some of the food in the pantry was being eaten, but he was alone in the house. Then he found mouse droppings everywhere. Turns out, there was a massive mouse infestation that the homeowners hadn't told him about. He had to deal with trying to catch the mice all by himself while also taking care of the house.

When babysitting a little boy, he got into his mother's makeup. He painted his face like a little monster. He thought he was so cool and growled like a monster at me when I walked in. I couldn't help but laugh.

There was this one time when I was cat sitting a very lazy cat. It would find the sunniest spot in the house and just plop down there all day. One day, it found a box near the window and squeezed itself into it. Then it fell asleep with its head hanging out. It was so cute that I took a picture and sent it to the owner.

Well, a neighbor of mine was moving. They hired movers who accidentally put the sofa on top of the car instead of in the truck. As they drove slowly through the neighborhood, the sofa was bouncing around on the roof. Everyone was laughing.
