My family and I were on a road trip. We stopped at a gas station. I went into the restroom and accidentally locked myself in. I tried for ages to get out. Eventually, I had to call for help. When the attendant finally got me out, there were a bunch of people waiting outside. I was so embarrassed. It was a simple latch but I just couldn't figure it out in my panic.
I was at a new job and still getting used to the office layout. I thought I was going into an empty meeting room to use my phone privately. But it turned out it was the bathroom. I was just standing there on my phone when someone walked in. I quickly said 'Wrong room!' and scurried out, feeling so stupid.
