I know a story where the babysitter was putting the kids to bed. As she was leaving the room, she heard a voice whispering her name. She thought it was one of the kids at first, but when she checked, they were all asleep. The voice continued, and she got so freaked out that she ran out of the house. Later, she found out that there was an old intercom system in the house that had some sort of interference, but at that moment, it was really terrifying.
