Tell me a short story about a terrible day.

It was a terrible day. I had planned a picnic with my friends. I prepared all the food the night before. But when we got to the park, it started to rain heavily. We tried to find shelter under a big tree, but it was still wet and uncomfortable. Then, one of my friends got a call that she had an emergency at home. So we had to pack up and leave. I was left with all the uneaten food and a sense of disappointment.

I had a terrible day at work last week. I woke up late and rushed to the office. As soon as I got there, my boss scolded me for being late. Then, I found out that I had made a big mistake in an important report. I had to spend the whole day correcting it. And on top of that, the coffee machine was broken, so I couldn't have my favorite coffee to keep me going. It was really a nightmare of a day.

Today was a terrible day. I had planned to go for a picnic with my family. But in the morning, we found out that the car had a flat tire. After fixing it, we finally reached the park, but there were so many bugs everywhere. Then, as we were setting up, it started to get really windy and our things kept getting blown away. And just when we thought it couldn't get worse, it started to rain and we had to rush back home all wet and disappointed.

Sure. I got to work late because my alarm didn't go off. Then I spilled coffee on my important papers right before a big meeting. During the meeting, I couldn't find the report I was supposed to present and made a fool of myself in front of the boss. It was just one disaster after another.

On my terrible day, I got up early to go for an important interview. But as soon as I stepped out, I found out that there was a power outage in the whole neighborhood. So I couldn't use the elevator and had to walk down 10 floors. When I finally reached the place of the interview, I found out I was at the wrong address. I was so frustrated and disappointed.

Once I dreamed that I was in a dark forest. The trees were so tall and thick that they blocked out the sky. Strange noises came from all around. Suddenly, a huge shadowy figure emerged from the bushes. It had glowing red eyes and long, sharp claws. I tried to run but my legs felt like lead. I woke up sweating and terrified.

One terrible day, everything seemed to go wrong. I planned a nice picnic with my friends. But in the morning, it started to rain heavily. So we decided to move the picnic indoors. However, the place we chose had a power outage. Then we found out that half of the food we brought had spoiled. It was a horrible day full of disappointments.

Maybe someone loses their job on a terrible day. They could be called into the boss's office unexpectedly and be told that they are no longer needed due to budget cuts or some other reason. It would be a huge shock and make the day extremely bad.
