Share your first day driving horror stories.

One of my first - time driving horror stories was when I was driving on a narrow mountain road. I misjudged a turn and almost went off the edge. It was terrifying. I slammed on the brakes just in time and my heart was pounding like crazy.

Well, my first driving lesson horror story was when I hit the curb really hard. I was so nervous that I misjudged the turn. The sound was awful and I thought I'd broken the car. My instructor just sighed deeply.

I once failed my driving test because I got so nervous that I completely forgot how to parallel park. It was a total disaster. I was shaking and just couldn't do it right, even though I had practiced it many times before.

Well, my worst first driving story was when I was trying to park. I hit the curb so hard that I thought I had damaged the tire. I was so nervous and everyone around was looking at me. It was really embarrassing.

Well, in my first driving lesson, I remember being overly cautious. I was barely touching the accelerator, and the car was crawling at a snail's pace. My instructor kept joking that we could probably be overtaken by a jogger. But it was important for me to get a feel for the controls gradually. It was also really difficult to remember all the mirror checks and blind - spot checks at the same time.

I don't really have an 'asparagus story' related to driving and horror. But I can imagine a scenario where someone is driving at night, sees something that looks like a giant asparagus in the middle of the road, and freaks out thinking it's some kind of horror - ish apparition. It could be a really stupid moment if it turns out to be just a strange - looking tree or a pile of trash that got blown into a weird shape.

My first time driving alone was terrifying. I kept double - checking everything. I was so worried about getting lost even though I was just driving to a nearby store. Every little noise the car made had me on edge. But when I finally reached my destination safely, I felt a huge sense of accomplishment.

A typical first - day driving horror story could be running out of gas. Maybe the new driver didn't check the fuel gauge properly or underestimated how much gas they needed for their trip. Also, getting stuck in traffic and panicking because they don't know how to handle the stop - and - go situation well. They might stall the car or be too slow to react when the traffic starts moving again. It's really nerve - wracking for new drivers. Another is having an argument with a passenger which distracts them and causes them to make a driving mistake, like swerving slightly or braking too hard.

One horror story was when I got completely lost on my first day at a new school. I was given the wrong directions to my first class and ended up in the janitor's closet. It was so embarrassing. I walked in, and there was this old man looking at me like I was crazy.

Well, on my first day at a new job, I was given a stack of papers to file. I had no idea about their system. I ended up filing everything wrong and it took days to fix. It was so embarrassing.
