What is your worst first date story?

I had a really bad first date at a restaurant. He was on his phone most of the time. It was so disrespectful. I was about to leave when he finally put his phone away. He then told me that he had just received some bad news at work but didn't want to cancel the date. He apologized sincerely. We started talking about our jobs and found out we were in similar fields. We had a lot to discuss and exchange ideas about. That made us want to see each other again, and it's been great ever since.
