Well, here's one. I was at a friend's party. There was a karaoke machine. I decided to be brave and sing. I thought I was doing great until I realized I was singing the wrong song entirely. I had mixed up two very different popular songs. My friends couldn't stop laughing at me for the rest of the night.

Sure. Once I was at a grocery store. There was an old lady trying to reach for a box of cereal on the top shelf. She was jumping a little but couldn't get it. Then a little kid, no more than five years old, came up and said 'Let me help you, granny.' He climbed up on the lower shelf, grabbed the box, and handed it to her. The old lady was so surprised and happy, and everyone around started laughing and clapping.

Well, my friend thought he could teach his parrot to sing the national anthem. He spent weeks trying, and one day the parrot finally started making some noises that sounded like the song. But just as he was showing it off to us, the parrot suddenly started squawking some random words from a TV commercial instead. We all burst out laughing.
