Please tell me a short story about 'a terrible night out'.

Once upon a time, there was a man named Tom. One night, he was walking alone on a desolate road. The wind was howling like a wild beast. Suddenly, a strange figure emerged from the bushes. Tom's heart raced as he tried to run, but his feet felt like they were stuck in mud. He finally managed to break free and ran all the way home, never looking back.

Maybe it's when you get lost in an unfamiliar place and can't find your way back. That could be really scary and make for a bad night.

A series of unfortunate events can lead to a terrible night out. For instance, you plan to see a movie but the theater has a power outage right when the movie is about to start. Then you try to find another activity, but everywhere you go is full or closed. You end up spending the whole night just wandering around feeling frustrated and disappointed.

It was a terrible day. I had planned a picnic with my friends. I prepared all the food the night before. But when we got to the park, it started to rain heavily. We tried to find shelter under a big tree, but it was still wet and uncomfortable. Then, one of my friends got a call that she had an emergency at home. So we had to pack up and leave. I was left with all the uneaten food and a sense of disappointment.

Well, it all started when I found out I lost my wallet as soon as I left home. I retraced my steps but couldn't find it. So, I had no money for the bus and had to walk to school. On the way, it started to rain heavily and I got soaked. Once at school, I realized I had left my homework at home. That day was full of mishaps and was just terrible.

I had a terrible day at work last week. I woke up late and rushed to the office. As soon as I got there, my boss scolded me for being late. Then, I found out that I had made a big mistake in an important report. I had to spend the whole day correcting it. And on top of that, the coffee machine was broken, so I couldn't have my favorite coffee to keep me going. It was really a nightmare of a day.

Once I dreamed that I was in a dark forest. The trees were so tall and thick that they blocked out the sky. Strange noises came from all around. Suddenly, a huge shadowy figure emerged from the bushes. It had glowing red eyes and long, sharp claws. I tried to run but my legs felt like lead. I woke up sweating and terrified.

Well, my first date with my partner was a disaster at first. We went to a restaurant, but the food took forever to come. Then it rained heavily when we were about to leave. But during all those mishaps, we started to laugh together, found we had a great sense of humor. Now we are happily married.

Sure. I got to work late because my alarm didn't go off. Then I spilled coffee on my important papers right before a big meeting. During the meeting, I couldn't find the report I was supposed to present and made a fool of myself in front of the boss. It was just one disaster after another.

Today was a terrible day. I had planned to go for a picnic with my family. But in the morning, we found out that the car had a flat tire. After fixing it, we finally reached the park, but there were so many bugs everywhere. Then, as we were setting up, it started to get really windy and our things kept getting blown away. And just when we thought it couldn't get worse, it started to rain and we had to rush back home all wet and disappointed.
