I remember on my first day of high school, I was introducing myself to a new group of classmates. I was so nervous that I completely forgot my own name for a second. I just stood there with my mouth open, trying to remember. Finally, I mumbled my name, but it came out all wrong. Everyone looked at me like I was crazy. It was so embarrassing that I wanted to hide for the rest of the day. I spent the whole day being super self - conscious about it.

On my first day of primary school, I was so nervous. I remember holding my mother's hand tightly as we walked into the schoolyard. The building looked huge to me then. When I entered the classroom, I saw lots of new faces. I was too shy to talk to anyone at first, but then a friendly girl came up to me and asked if I wanted to sit next to her. On my worst first day, I sat next to a really mean girl in class. She kept stealing my pencils and when I asked for them back, she told the teacher that I was being mean to her. The teacher believed her without even asking me my side of the story. I was so frustrated and angry. I spent the rest of the day in a really bad mood.
