My best 'fml' story happened when I went on a date. I had been looking forward to it for weeks. I got to the restaurant early and sat at the table. I waited for an hour and the person never showed up. I called and found out they had the wrong date written down. I was so embarrassed sitting there all alone for so long, and it really put me in a bad mood for days.
I had a really bad day. I planned to surprise my friend with a homemade cake. I spent hours making it. When I was on my way to her place, I tripped and dropped the cake. It was completely ruined. And to make things worse, it started to rain and I got soaked while standing there looking at the smashed cake on the ground.
Well, my FML life story involves a time when I was really excited for a job interview. I prepared for days, had all my answers ready. But on the day of the interview, I woke up late because my alarm didn't go off. I rushed to get there, looking a mess. And when I finally arrived, they told me they had already filled the position. It was just one of those days where everything seemed to go wrong.
A man was so excited to take his new boat out for the first time. He invited all his friends. But as he was driving the boat towards the lake, he forgot to check the depth and ran the boat right into a sandbar. The boat got stuck and they had to call for help. His friends teased him about it for months.
Well, here's a funny story. I went to a new coffee shop. I ordered a latte and when the barista handed it to me, he accidentally spilled some on his own shirt and then started doing a little dance like it was part of the show. It made my day.
A girl was going on a first date. She dressed up really nice and put on her favorite perfume. But when she got to the date location, she realized she had forgotten her wallet. So she couldn't even pay for her own coffee if needed. And she felt so awkward the whole time, trying to figure out how to handle the situation without looking too bad.
There was this time at school when I accidentally spilled my lunch all over my desk. And it was the one day I had my favorite meal. Not only did I lose my lunch, but I also had to clean up the mess while everyone was staring at me. It was a total fml moment.
Here's one. I once went to a job interview. I was so nervous that when they asked me my name, I completely blanked and said the name of my dog instead. I was so embarrassed but then the interviewers just burst out laughing and it kind of broke the ice. In the end, I didn't get the job but it's still a funny memory.
From my FML life story, I learned to always have a backup plan. For example, after missing that job interview because of the alarm, I now set multiple alarms and have a backup way to get to important places in case of emergencies.
There was this time I went camping. I was trying to set up my tent. I accidentally tied myself up in the tent ropes and fell over. It took me ages to get free while my friends were in stitches.
I went to a new restaurant. I ordered a steak. When it came, it looked amazing. But as I cut into it, the knife slipped and the steak flew across the table and landed in a lady's purse. I was so embarrassed.
Once, my friend thought she was being super stylish with her new high - heeled boots. She strutted into a coffee shop, but as soon as she got to the counter, she tripped over a small step and spilled her coffee all over the barista. It was so embarrassing for her, but we still laugh about it now.
