How to write a successful Forgotten Realms novel?

Ye Xiao was a superior cultivator in his previous life. The three factions of the Qing-Yun Realm killed millions of people every time they attempt to seize cultivation resources. I always wanted to write fanfiction and the idea for this story kept popping up in my head so here we are. My main goal right now is to upload a chapter at least once a week and that becomes a lot harder when English isn't my first language.
