What would happen if a man falls asleep for 100 years?

When he hits the ground, the impact might be so strong that it could damage his vital organs like the heart, lungs or liver. There's also a high chance of spinal cord injury which could lead to paralysis.

Well, one possibility is that Ben might notice Mal asleep and feel a sense of protectiveness. He could gently cover her with a blanket or just sit there, watching her sleep and reflecting on their relationship. Maybe he starts to realize new feelings for her as she sleeps peacefully.
