Qing's Third Prince

The Qing Third Prince was Li Chengping. He was a character in the television drama Qing Yunian and the Qing Emperor's third son. In the play, Fan Xian chose to elect the Third Prince as Emperor to rule Qing Kingdom. Even though the Third Prince was relatively less powerful among his brothers, he eventually became the heir to the throne through clever strategies and waiting for the right opportunity to lie low. He was considered the most suitable candidate for the throne and one of the biggest winners in the show.

The Qing Kingdom's Third Prince in the last few years was Li Chengping. He was the Qing Emperor's third son. He was the youngest and his power was far inferior to the Great Prince and the Second Prince. However, through careful planning and waiting for an opportunity, he succeeded in inheriting the throne of the Qing Kingdom. Under Fan Xian's guidance and help, he inherited Fan Xian's idea of working for the welfare of the people and his spirit of pursuing fairness and justice, becoming the final victor. The Qing Emperor's other sons, the Great Prince and the Second Prince, had all died because of their rebellion. Fan Xian had become enemies with the Qing Emperor and eventually killed him. The Third Prince did not appear in the play, but in the original work, he was an important character. Fan Xian raised him to the throne.

In the original novel, the Third Prince was Li Chengping. He was the Qing Emperor's third son, and his mother was Yi Guipin. Even though the Third Prince's power and status were far inferior to the Great Prince and the Second Prince, he ultimately succeeded in ascending to the throne of the Qing Kingdom. After Fan Xian defeated the Qing Emperor, he chose to live in seclusion. Li Chengping became the new Emperor.
