The Northern Qi Empress

Northern Qi had two empresses, Li Zu'e and Lou Zhaojun. Li Zu'e was the Empress of Gao Yang, Emperor Wenxuan of North Qi. She was born in the Li family of Zhao County and had a high level of cultural accomplishment. She was favored by Prime Minister Gao Huan and became the wife of the Duke of Taiyuan County. Later, she was conferred the title of Empress. She gave birth to Gao Yin, the deposed emperor of Northern Qi, Gao Shaode, the king of Taiyuan, and Gao Baode, the princess of Changle Prefecture. The other empress was Lou Zhaojun. She was the wife of Gao Huan, the founder of Northern Qi. She was the granddaughter of Lou Ti, Marquis Zhending of Northern Wei. She was the daughter of Situ Lou Neigan and the mother of Gao Yang, Gao Yan, and Gao Zhan.

The Northern Qi empress of the Qing Dynasty was Zhan Doudou. Before she was born, she was declared a boy to ensure that she could inherit the throne. Zhan Doudou was raised as a boy, and as he grew up, he displayed talent and skill, successfully ruling Northern Qi. In the TV series " Celebrating Years," Zhan Doudou was played by Liu Meitong.

She chose to cooperate with Fan Xian to let him feel her sincerity and to strengthen Northern Qi's power and ensure the country's stability and prosperity. Zhan Doudou's mother was the Empress Dowager of Northern Qi. They had a deep mother-daughter relationship. In " Celebrating Years 2," the Northern Qi empress Zhan Doudou was played by Liu Meitong. The last Empress Dowager of Northern Qi was Empress Dowager Hu. She was the empress of Northern Qi's Emperor Wucheng, Gao Zhan, and also the mother of Northern Qi's last Emperor, Gao Wei. Empress Dowager Hu became the Empress Dowager after Gao Zhan's death, and her relationship with He Shikai became public. After the fall of Northern Qi, Empress Dowager Hu entered the Northern Zhou Dynasty, but she eventually died in the Sui Dynasty.

Empress Dowager of Northern Qi referred to Empress Li Zu'e of Emperor Wenxuan of Northern Qi and Empress Hu of Emperor Wucheng of Northern Qi. Li Zu'e was Gao Yang's empress. It was said that she lived a free life in Beizhou and even opened a brothel. Empress Dowager Hu and Li Zu'e were both Northern Qi's empresses.

The Northern Qi Empress Dowager was Zhan Doudou's biological mother in " Celebrating Years." She had always maintained a close working relationship with Zhan Doudou. In order to protect her family's status, she had been putting on a show since Zhan Doudou was born. Even though the outside world believed that the empress dowager and the emperor, Zhan Doudou, were not on good terms, this was in fact just a facade. The empress dowager's actions were all to help Zhan Doudou stabilize the situation in the imperial court. She and Zhan Doudou had faced many challenges together, including the siege of the palace, but in the end, they had succeeded in protecting the mother and daughter. The Empress Dowager's existence played an important role in the stability of the Northern Qi Dynasty.
