However, Princess Qingdu died of illness on the thirteenth day of the fifth month of the fifth year of Zhengtong. She was thirty-two years old. Her death deeply saddened Emperor Mingying, and he stopped court for a day to mourn. Princess Qingdu was buried in the plains of Black Rock Mountain.
