The trees at the head of the inkstone washing pool in my house are all blooming with faint ink marks and calligraphy
This was a poem from the Tang Dynasty poet Bai Juyi's "Farewell to the Ancient Grass". The whole sentence is: "The trees at the head of my inkstone washing pool are all bloomed with faint ink marks." Don't ask me when I'll stop, just watch the moon shine on the flowing spring." The poem depicted a family with trees by the pool, each tree full of lilac flowers, shaped like calligraphy. The poet used the phrase " every flower blooms with a faint ink mark " to describe the elegant posture of these flowers." Don't ask when they will come and end " to express his appreciation for these beautiful flowers and also hint at his future parting feelings. This poem had a profound artistic conception, was poetic and philosophical, and was widely quoted and praised. It was also one of Bai Juyi's representative works.
