Controlling time or the laws of time are often seen as superpowers in novels. Many novels explore how the protagonist uses these powers to change the world. However, in real life, time was an objective existence that could not be controlled or changed. Therefore, this "superpower" was usually regarded as fictional in novels. Even so, many novels may still explore how the protagonist deals with time or how to deal with time-related plots. For example, some novels might describe the protagonist's experiences in time travel or how they use the laws of time to solve problems or promote the development of the story. Therefore, although the protagonist could not control time or the laws of time, the novel would still explore these plots.
