"Quest for Qin" was first published in Hong Kong in 1994. The novel told the story of the protagonist Xiang Shaolong who finally became a martial arts master after going through countless hardships in the process of treasure hunting, adventures, and battles. Recently, a new TV series called " The Eternal Fire of the Qin Dynasty " was broadcasted in the mainland of China, with actors Huang Xiaoming and Deng Ziqi as the main actors. Compared to the old version, the new version had some improvements and updates in terms of scenes, special effects, and costumes. Although the content of the new and old TV series may be different, as novels, their plots and character creation are all Mr. Jin Yong's specialty. Therefore, they may receive different evaluations and preferences on different platforms.
