When I was growing up, there was a book that was one of the most important books in my life. This book is not only the most profound reflection in my life, but also a book that inspires me the most. The name of this book was The Analects of Confucius. It was a very important classic work in ancient China. The Analects of Confucius recorded the words and deeds of Confucius and his disciples, including politics, morality, education, and so on. Through reading the Analects of Confucius, I learned that Confucius 'thoughts and morals had a great effect on my growth. There is a saying in the Analects of Confucius: "A gentleman learns the Tao and loves others. A villain learns the Tao and is easy to use." This sentence tells us that the correct way to learn is to love the people first and then learn knowledge. This sentence deeply touched me and made me understand what a true gentleman should do. There was another saying,"Learning without thinking is lost. Thinking without learning is dangerous." This sentence tells us that learning is necessary, but we can't just stay at the level of thinking, but we must put it into action in time. This sentence also reminded me to be vigilant at all times, not to stay in the comfort zone, but to face challenges and dangers bravely. Through reading the Analects of Confucius, I not only learned Confucius 'thoughts and morals, but also learned the words and deeds of his disciples. This made me understand that people should respect each other, care for each other, and always keep a clear head to face challenges. I grew up with a book called The Analects of Confucius, which had a profound influence on my thinking and morals. This book made me understand the truth of being a human, making me more kind and brave. I believe that I will become more and more mature and outstanding through continuous learning and thinking.
