They were all famous for their different main topics. "Dream of the Red Chamber" used the love story of Jia Baoyu, Lin Daiyu and others as the main line to describe the rise and fall of a feudal dynasty and the disputes between families. Journey to the West, on the other hand, was about the adventures of Sun Wukong and others. It was about the Tang Dynasty monk Xuanzang who took his disciples to India to obtain the true scriptures. " Water Margins " used the stories of Lin Chong, Wu Song, Lu Zhishen, and others as the main line to describe the dark side of society and the sufferings of the people. Romance of the Three Kingdoms, on the other hand, used the historical story of the Three Kingdoms period as the main story to tell the political struggles and war stories of Cao Cao, Liu Bei, Sun Quan, and others.
