Immortality is the dream of many people. Can humans finally achieve eternal life? Science had yet to find a way to fully realize human immortality. Although medicine and biotechnology were constantly developing, it was still impossible to predict which technology or medicine could permanently extend life. However, the extension of human life was possible. Some scientists and medical experts believed that human genes and physiological structure could affect lifespan to a certain extent. For example, through gene editing technology, one could modify the physiological characteristics of the human body, such as strengthening the immune system and prolonging life. However, these technologies are still in the laboratory and animal testing stage, and there are still many unknown risks and challenges. In addition, the concept of immortality itself was controversial because it involved human self-awareness and the meaning of life. Therefore, although we have yet to find a way to achieve immortality, scientists and medical experts are still working hard to explore this field. In the future, new technologies and theories may appear to provide better solutions for human immortality.
