A novel (or play) can generally be divided into four parts: The beginning of the story mainly shows the background, characters, and plot of the story to lay the foundation for the development of the subsequent plot. 2. The middle part: Through the gradual development of the characters and plots, the main plot and characters of the story are revealed, while providing motivation and background for the development of the subsequent plots. 3. The ending: Through the reversal or climax of the characters and plot, the final answer of the story is revealed or the unfolding of the answer provides the reader with surprise and satisfaction. 4. Extras: In some novels or plays, extras can be independent stories, or they can be used as a supplement or extension to the novel or play to provide readers with more surprises and fun.
