Why do some people prefer watching dramas to watching two-hour movies?

Maybe it's because it's easier to watch a drama because a drama is usually 20-30 minutes long while a movie is usually 90 minutes or longer. The audience could enjoy more content in a shorter time without having to spend too much time adapting to the plot or waiting for the movie to play. Watching dramas could also be more flexible. The audience could choose the plot and characters they liked without being restricted by the director and screenwriter like in movies. The audience could freely watch the TV series at their own time and preferences without being limited by the length of the movie. In addition, for some people, watching a TV series could better integrate into the plot because they could feel the emotions and experiences of the characters as the plot developed. This was different from movies, which usually presented the story in an independent way. The audience could feel and think independently in the movie.
