Beyond was founded in 1980 and is one of the Hong Kong rock bands known for their strong musical style and influential music works. The band members included Huang Jiaju, Huang Guanzhong, Ye Shirong and Huang Weiwen. The band's struggle could be traced back to 1983 when the band's predecessor, Beyond Aerial, was founded. In 1985, the band changed their name to "Beyond" to symbolize their infinite pursuit and lofty goals. The band's music works covered rock, pop, electronic music and many other styles. The most famous works included "Boundless Sea and Sky","I Really Love You" and "Glorious Years".
