Li Bai's Orchid Boat Temple was a Buddhist temple located in Pingjiang County, Yueyang City, Hunan Province, China. It was built in the Tang Dynasty and was the relic of Master Hongren, the fifth ancestor of Chinese Zen Buddhism. The temple covered a vast area and was built in a simple and elegant style. It was one of the important sites of Chinese Zen Buddhism. Li Bai was a famous poet of the Tang Dynasty. His poems were deeply loved by later generations, and the Orchid Boat Temple became an important cultural heritage in the history of Chinese literature.
