Xiang Yu (232 B.C. -202 B.C.) was a famous military general and politician in Chinese history. Xiang Yu was the leader of the Chu-Han War. He led the Chu army to defeat the Han army, seized the land of Chu, and established the Chu-Han Dynasty. Later generations hailed him as the "Overlord". When Xiang Yu was young, he had great ambitions and loved military and politics. He had once served as the son of a noble in the State of Chu. However, during the Chu-Han War, he resolutely gave up his noble status and led the Chu army to fight against the powerful Han army. He had performed well in the war and was extremely brave. He had defeated the enemy several times and was praised as the "Overlord's Talent". During the Chu-Han War, Xiang Yu led the Chu army to defeat the Han army many times and finally seized the land of Chu to establish the Chu-Han Dynasty. However, Xiang Yu's rule was not smooth. He implemented a series of reforms and policies, but they were opposed by the nobles and political forces, which eventually led to the collapse of the Chu and Han Dynasties. After Xiang Yu's death, his successor, Liu Bang, won and established the Han Dynasty.
