Xi Murong

Xi Murong (1897 - 1968), whose original name was Xi Hanzi, Yan Bing, and whose pen name was Dream Dreamer, was born in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. He was a famous poet, essayist, painter, and translator in modern China. Xi Murong's poems were fresh, natural, sincere, and deep. He was known as the "aristocrat of literature." Xi Murong was intelligent since he was a child and could write poetry at the age of ten. He studied in Japan in the early 20th century and was deeply influenced by Japanese culture.
