So she began her journey to find the truth and discovered the horror and secrets of the insect world. In the story, Esther met many insects, including a singing spider, a dancing butterfly, and an insect named "Devil". They told her the secret between humans and insects. Esther finally discovered a huge conspiracy that would lead to the destruction of the insect world and humans would become the rulers of this world. In order to prevent this from happening, Esther and the other insects joined forces to fight against humans and demons. Insects was a novel full of fantasy and horror elements. The plot was compact and full of imagination. It was one of Christie's representative works.
