The "Yam Egg School" was one of the schools of Chinese literature, named after its founder, Zhao Yi (1688 - 1742). This school advocated taking "Chinese yam egg"(namely Chinese yam, duck egg) as the main literary creation content and leisurely, relaxed and humorous essays. Zhao Yi, the founder of the School of Chinese Yam and Egg, was a writer and poet. His representative works included "Reminiscence of the Past at Night Moored by Niu Zhu" and "Happy Rain on a Spring Night". The School of Chinese Yam Eggs occupied an important position in the history of literature and had a profound influence on the literary creation of later generations.
