Jin Yong was a famous Wuxia novel in China. He was known as the "Great Master of Wuxia Fictions". His works were very popular among Chinese readers because they described the grudges and chivalrous spirits of Jianghu. Jin Yong was born on December 26, 1936 in Haining Prefecture, Zhejiang Province. He died on September 20, 1966 at the age of 54. He had worked for Hong Kong Television Station and created a large number of classic martial arts novels, such as The Legend of the Condor Heroes, The Return of the Condor Heroes, The Eight Dragons, The Smiling Proud Jianghu, The Sword of the Blue Blood, etc., which had been translated into many languages and had a wide readership around the world.
